"The Marian Wellness Committee purpose is to promote a campus environment that promotes the health and wellness of all members of the University community. We serve as a catalyst for the creation of a campus climate in which health, holistically conceived, is appreciated and fostered. The Well City project is helping us develop and deliver results-oriented, evidence based programs at Marian University."

The functions of the Marian Wellness Committee are:

  • Represent the health and wellness concerns of students and employees.
  • Aid in informing the campus and community of pertinent health issues and campus events and services.
  • Advocate on important health and wellness issues of concern to students, employees and the committee.
  • Work to establish programs, services and facilities that benefit students and employees.
  • Openly discuss issues related to improving the programs, services, facilities and equipment.
  • Develop programs and activities that address health issues as related to Well City Fond du Lac initiative.
